Andrew Garfield dons the mask of Spider-Man once again in this latest installment of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Sorry to disappoint you guys, but unfortunately, we're gonna be talking about trailers this time. Since I haven't watched this movie yet so, we're even. Anyway, welcome back to Dateline Movies. Our first ever trailer review is about one of the most anticipated movies of all time, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

What we saw in the trailers?

Well, we saw a lot of epic events in these trailers. The trailers also contain a plot. In the trailers, Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, played by Garfield (Never let Me Go) is now on a relationship with her beloved Gwen Stacy, played by Stone (The Croods). Peter is still taking care of his Aunt May, played by Field (Lincoln) as he maintains his superhero duties. Meanwhile, three powerful villains have been unleashed into the city. One of them is Electro (the man in blue lightning), played by Foxx (Rio), who is obviously really angry at Spidey. Another one of them is the Rhino (the man with the machine gun), played by Giamatti (Sideways), who is just your average thug, who will soon get his own armor, and the last is Peter's best friend, Harry Osborn, played by DeHaan (Chronicle), who is hiding some very big secrets from the Parker family.

Together, they will destroy Spidey, and maybe even New York. But could they be targeting something else? (That's just my guess) As the enemies become stronger and their numbers grow bigger, more secrets of Peter's parents are starting to break loose (mainly the subway lab). Will these secrets destroy him?

What I think of the trailer?

Wow, the trailer really caught my eyes and attention, with the intense action sequences and the undeniably large number of hidden surprises here. (I'll tell them later in Spotted!) What I meant to say is, the trailer packs enough action and memorable moments to make you come to the theaters to watch the movie. I'm really excited for the sequel.

With that, I hope you have enjoyed this review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer here on Dateline Movies. I hope you guys will watch this movie, because you really don't want to miss this one. Be sure to Like, Tweet or Share before you leave. Do you have a movie you wish to be featured? Comment below, and I might just use your suggestion. Thank you again!

Spotted!: Trivia and Hidden Surprises (Spoiler Alert!)

1. Bird Brains - During the sequence when the enigmatic "Man in the Shadows" was walking on an OsCorp Tower corridor, there are two things that will give you nostalgia there. One is on the left, which are iron wings and on the right, you have mechanical tentacles. The wings harness is a reference to the Vulture, who is a former employee of OsCorp.

For more information about the Vulture Wings, click here and for it's possible user in the movies, click here.
2. Armed and Ready - On the same scene as above, there are mechanical octopus tentacles on the "Man in the Shadows" back and the viewer's right side. This is a reference to Doctor Octopus, who is also a former OsCorp employee and you might remember him being played by Alfred Molina in Spider-Man 2.

3. Black and White - On the scene where Harry Osborn admitted to Peter Parker that OsCorp had his family under surveillance, he was using a keyboard which contained several hidden surprises. One of the virtual tablets was labeled "Venom Storage 7-U". This is a reference to Spidey's most villainous enemy, Venom. You may remember him being portrayed by Topher Grace as Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3.

For more information about the alien substance, click here and for it's most prominent host, click here.

4. The Living Vampire - On the exact same scene, two of the virtual tablets give another surprise. These tablets are labeled "Dr. Morbius File", which is a reference to the Marvel antihero, Morbius, The Living Vampire, who also cross-paths with the web head.

For more information about Morbius, click here.

5. The Hunter Down Under - Again, on the exact same scene, there is another virtual tablet with a surprise. This virtual tablet is labeled "Australian Project", which is a possible reference to Kraven the Hunter, which is also another Spidey enemy. Although the mainstream version of Kraven is Russian, this version is Australian, because like many of the current Marvel movies, it is set in the Ultimate Marvel continuity.

6. Sinister Six Plus One - Well ain't it a coincidence that we get a Sinister Six surprise as a sixth item. During a specific scene where there are seven doors (the other one is shown of picture), they have been opened. Do you know what it's about? Think about it, we have the Vulture Wings and Doctor Octopus Tentacles, the Venom suit, a crazed hunter, and a vampire, and what do we get? We get the Sinister Six, a Spider-Man revenge club, who really wants Spider-Man gone. The original line-up is lead by Doctor Octopus, with Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, Electro, Sandman and Mysterio. You may remember the Sandman being acted out by Thomas Haden Church in Spider-Man 3. However, since neither Sandman nor Mysterio appear yet, we may have this line-up instead. My version of this line-up has Doctor Octopus, Vulture, the Lizard, Rhino, Electro and the Green Goblin. The line-up may change depending upon the producers' decisions. In fact, since we are in the Ultimate Marvel timeline, we may have the Ultimate Six as another possibility. Also, did I forget a seventh door? We may have a Sinister Seven here, with Venom. We may even have the Shocker, Mysterio and Morbius as added members.

7. The Chemistry Set - For the next surprise, we go to Richard Parker's Subway Laboratory. Look to the far left of the laboratory. What you see is quite small, but it has small black vials, contained in test tubes. This is another reference to Venom.

8. Viral Marketing - Back at the near beginning when Spider-Man and Rhino first met, the Daily Bugle is seen at the top right side of the frame. There is a message written on the top wall, which says "Follow the Daily Bugle on Tumblr", which is actually an existing account. Talk about viral marketing. For those who don't know, the Daily Bugle is the place of work for Peter Parker, where in the original trilogy he works there as a freelance photographer and is run by J. Jonah Jameson, who was played by J.K. Simmons in his most iconic role yet.

9. Unlucky - Okay, the Black Cat didn't have that much connection with the movie, yet. As you might have known, Felicity Jones will play Felicia Hardy, also known as the Black Cat. Black Cat is like Batman's Catwoman. They're both cat burglars and in some way, in love with the title character. There was one specific scene that showed Jones, in a really small part of the trailer. Remember the Green Goblin in front of the OsCorp Tower window? Yep, that's her.
For more information about the Black Cat, click here.
10. Into the Mad House! - Oh, I forgot something. Back at the keyboard scene, there was a virtual tablet labeled "Ravencroft". Does it ring any bells? It's the mental hospital where in Spidey most insane foe is incarcerated, Carnage, who is also a bearer of a symbiote similar to Venom's.
For more information about Carnage, click here.

11. The Ultimate Spider-Slayer - Speaking of Ravencroft, there was a scene there, which probably took place in either OsCorp or Ravencroft, but I believe it is more on Ravencroft. This was a small scene where in a man picked up some red test tubes. This may be BJ Novak as Alistair Smythe, the son of Spencer Smythe, who created the Spider-Slayers, who also becomes one himself. What he may be holding are Carnage symbiote containers, since they're red, and Carnage is colored red. What could they be cooking up in Ravencroft?
